I forgot my password to log in to the system, what should I do?

If you have forgotten the screen lock password, you must reset the tablet to its factory default settings.
**NOTE: Once reset, all settings will be restored to factory default settings and the user will be required to redo the initial settings. Also, all installed applications and user personal data will be erased. Please find the correct reset method that corresponds to your D2 Pad model:

D2-741G Units:

  • Turn off your tablet.
  • Once off, click and hold down Volume - button.
  • Without letting go of the Volume - button, click and hold down the Power button.
  • Hold both buttons down until the Digital2 logo appears. Release the Power button immediately but continue to hold down the Volume - button. In 10-15 seconds, the Digital2 logo will fade out and the Android System Recovery menu will appear on screen.
  • Release the Volume - button, then click the Volume - button to scroll down the list to "wipe data/factory reset" and press the Power button to select it.
  • Click the Volume - button to scroll down to "Yes --delete all user data" and press the Power button to select it.
  • Give your tablet a few minutes to perform the factory reset. Once it is finished, you will be able to access your tablet again.

D2-962G & D2-963G Units:

  • Turn off your tablet.
  • Once off, click and hold down the Volume + button.
  • Without letting go of the Volume + button, click and hold down the Power button.
  • Hold both buttons down for about 5 to 15 seconds, until the Digital2 logo pops up on the screen then release ONLY the Power button but continue holding the Volume + button.
  • In a few seconds, the Android System Recovery selection screen will display.
  • Using the Volume - button, scroll down the list to "wipe data/factory reset," then press the Power button to select it.
  • Using the Volume - button, scroll down the list to "Yes -- delete all user data," then press the Power button to select it.
  • Give your tablet a few minutes to perform the factory reset. Once it is finished, you will be able to access your tablet again.

D2-961G Units:

  • Turn off your tablet.
  • Once off, click and hold down the Volume + button.
  • Without letting go of the Volume + button, click and hold down the Power button.
  • Hold both buttons down for about 10 to 15 seconds, until the D2 logo pops up on the screen. Then release both buttons.
  • In a few seconds, an Android robot icon will be displayed laying on its back, with a red triangle on top of it.
  • Click and hold the Power button, then press the Volume + button one time. This will lead you to the Android System Recovery selection screen.
  • Using the Volume - button, scroll down the list to "wipe data/factory reset," then press the Power button to select it.
  • Using the Volume - button, scroll down the list to "Yes -- delete all user data," then press the Power button to select it.

D2-713G Units:
Please re-flash the tablet’s firmware as instructed below.
Please kindly be advised and understand that the firmware installation will require a 3rd party software called "LiveSuit Tool" to first be installed onto your PC.

D2-1061G Units:

  • Turn off your tablet.

  • Click the Volume - button to scroll down to "Yes --delete all user data" and press the Power button to select it.

D2-751G Units:

  • Turn off your tablet.
  • Once off, click and hold down the Volume + button.
  • Without letting go of the Volume + button, click and hold down the Power button.
  • Hold both buttons down for about 10 to 15 seconds and the Digital2 logo will appear. In a few seconds, the Digital2 logo disappear. Continue holding down both buttons until menu displays on screen.
  • Release both the power and +volume buttons. Now click on the - volume keys to scroll down the list to "wipe data/factory reset" and press the power button to select it.
  • Click the - volume key to scroll down to "Yes --delete all user data" and press the power button to select it.
  • Give your tablet a few minutes to perform the factory reset. Once it is finished, you will be able to access your tablet again.

D2-727(G) & D2-927G Units:

  • Turn off your tablet.
  • Once off, click and hold down the Volume + button.
  • Without letting go of the Volume + button, click and hold down the Power button.
  • Hold both buttons down for about 10 to 15 seconds, until the D2 logo pops up on the screen. Then release both buttons.
  • In a few seconds, an Android robot icon will be displayed laying on its back, with a red triangle on top of it.
  • Click and hold the Power button, then press the Volume + button one time. This will lead you to the Android System Recovery selection screen.
  • Using the Volume - button, scroll down the list to "wipe data/factory reset," then press the Power button to select it.
  • Using the Volume - button, scroll down the list to "Yes -- delete all user data," then press the Power button to select it.

D2-721G Units:
Please submit a new request for reset details.


D2-721 Units:

  • Hold all three buttons down for about 10 to 15 seconds and an Android logo will appear. In a few seconds, the Android logo will change into a broken Android robot.
  • Release the three buttons. Now click on the - volume key to scroll down the list to "wipe data/factory reset" and press the power button to select it.
  • Click the - volume key to scroll down to "Yes --delete all user data" and press the power button to select it.

D2-911 Units:
Please re-flash the tablet’s firmware as instructed below.
Please kindly be advised that it will require a 3rd party software called "LiveSuit" to first be installed onto your PC in order to enable the firmware installation.

D2-711 Units:

  • Turn off your tablet.
  • Once off, click and hold down both the + and - volume buttons.
  • Without letting go the volume buttons, click and hold down the power button.
  • Hold all three buttons down for about 10 to 15 seconds and an Android logo will appear. In a few seconds, the Android logo will change into a broken Android robot.
  • Release the three buttons. Now click on the - volume key to scroll down the list to "wipe data/factory reset" and press the power button to select it.
  • Click the - volume key to scroll down to "Yes --delete all user data" and press the power button to select it.

DII Pad Units:

  • Power off the unit and wait for a few seconds to make sure that it is completely shut off.
  • Press and hold the Volume +, -, and Power buttons all together at same time and keep holding until a blue screen appears.
  • Select "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" by using the Volume buttons to navigate up and down, and the Power button as select.
  • Select "Yes – Delete All User Data" -> "Reboot System Now"

If the above method is not working, you can also try to intall the latest Firmware upgrade released under products> downloads page to overwrite the entire settings.
